Clarendon Early Education Services receives Think Give Scholarship

Clarendon receives scholarship from ThinkGive to bring new social and emotional learning programming to our children!

We are proud to announce that Clarendon Early Education Services is a recipient of ThinkGive’s SEL for Every Child Fund. ThinkGive is a non-profit organization that promotes emotional well-being in K-8 youth. This funding will allow us to bring ThinkGive’s social and emotional learning (SEL) programming to our children. ThinkGive’s programs empower youth to take actions that positively impact themselves and others; building character, confidence, and connection. ThinkGive students overwhelmingly report strong increases in feelings of belonging, self-esteem, connection, and empowerment.

“ThinkGive will help our children learn about the power of kindness, and discover that they can be agents of positive change. We are grateful for this partnership and are excited for our educators and families to see its impact,” said Joanna Doyle, Executive Director of Education and Professional Development. The program will enhance Clarendon’s ongoing work to support social and emotional learning.

“One of ThinkGive’s top strategic priorities is to expand access to our programming so that every student can access the SEL needed to develop their whole selves and promote emotional well-being,” said Penny Austen, Executive Director of ThinkGive. “We are delighted to partner with Clarendon to bring ThinkGive to their community.”

Clarendon provided Spanish language translation of training materials and lesson plans to increase access to this wonderful curriculum.
