Hello, my name is Anastacia Lake. I work in a home-based family child care program, and I have been working in the field of early childhood education for the past 24 years. The pilot training that I took was the Anti-Bias course. What I like about this course was that it enabled me to help children develop a strong sense of self-identity, appreciate diversity, and to understand fairness and justice. I think the e-learning portal is relatively easy to use. The tabs are self-explanatory as to what they contain, and it’s very easy to get help if you’re having trouble navigating with a tutorial tab and the request coaching tab if you need any kind of help. Through activity, I will encourage children to be strong and stand for themselves and for others, to have a strong sense of belonging, to celebrate diversity and to recognize injustice. Thank you.
