Many thanks to all the generous donors and friends of Clarendon who made this year’s toy drive a great success. Individuals, families, organizations and businesses graciously contributed by organizing toy collections, donating toys, making financial gifts, sponsoring families and volunteering time to help. An anonymous donor offered a fund raising challenge, and generously matched substantial monetary donations!  With all of this assistance, we were able to provide about 950 gifts (plus stocking stuffers) to children in Clarendon programs! We distributed toys to our Family Child Care Educators to give to all the children in their care, and have heard wonderful stories about joyous moments shared with children and families. We also had quilts, hats and mittens from Stitched with Love Hampstead, a very caring group that donates to us throughout the year. We are grateful to our big-hearted donors and friends for bringing joy to so many children this holiday season.
