CACFP Home Monitor – Full Time Multi-Lingual (English/Portuguese/ Spanish)

Multi-Lingual (English/Portuguese/ Spanish) Sponsor Monitor for the Child and Adult Care Food Program

Clarendon Early Education Services Inc. is seeking a dependable, self-starting, motivated person with exceptional people skills. The home monitor position will review and train a diverse group of Family Child Care providers throughout Massachusetts. The position includes monitoring home reviews to licensed Family Child Care Providers (FDCH) participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and monitor providers in the areas of program accountability and nutrition integrity.

The home monitor serves as the link between the sponsoring organization and the FDCH provider to assure that the FDCH provider operates within the guidelines of the CACFP. Effective sponsor monitors demonstrate competency when performing the following.

Job Duties:

• Provide training and technical assistance.
• Perform mandatory onsite meal service reviews three (3) times annually.
• Communicate with provider sponsoring organizations policies and procedures.
• Professional Behavior and Development
• Maintain knowledge of current CACFP regulations through staff meetings three/four times annually.
• Assist with menu review and other Food Program administrative duties as deemed necessary.

Essential Functions:

• Education: Certification preferred in human service or related field. Two years of equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Multi-lingual English, Spanish and Portuguese.
• Must have excellent observation and writing skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
• Candidate must have the ability to grasp, interpret, and enforce state and federal regulatory guidelines.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to serve homes throughout Massachusetts.
• Prior Experience with CACFP preferred if possible.
• Computer Literate in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.

Compensation $50k-56k
